What is GAN (Generative Adversarial Network)?
An older image-generation method where two networks compete to produce realistic output.
A GAN pairs two networks — a generator that creates images and a discriminator that judges them — that train against each other.
GANs drove early AI image generation; many tools have since moved to diffusion models.
